Link (Japanese: リンク Hepburn: Rinku) refers to several different incarnations of the protagonist of Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda series. Link has been also featured in other media from Nintendo, including its merchandising, comic books, and a cartoon series, becoming one of Nintendo's main icons as well as one of the most well-known and popular characters in video game history. "The line in the sand between man and beast gets very blurry during war. You don't get to hold your moral ground when 'thou shalt not kill' is no longer an option. That doesn't make me uncomfortable. Never has." General Thaddeus E. "Thunderbolt" Ross (Red Hulk) Show more

Good morning everyone!
This is another version of Joker without a paddle, that i shot the other day. This one is not composited. The bokeh was actually in the shot. Since the light came from behind, it wasn't possible to bring too much detail in front, but I think this image is very dreamlike. I love it.
Oh, btw, Joker actually lost both paddles. 'THAT'S WHY SO SERIOUS!' Show more

This Predator from Hot Toys blew me away with the detail. Instantly I fell in love with its hound, but every time I tried shooting the two together I found the I always made the hound the star, yet it felt unfair considering the articulation and attention that went into the Predator figure. Eventually I omitted the hound from the shoot and gave the Predator the spotlight it deserved. Show more

These Samurai figures have quickly become my go to for toy photography. Something about their size just makes them easy to grab and set up in the field quickly. As well as highly photogenic. I find myself walking around with one or two of them in my backpack, ready to go at all times, along with a zip lock bag of their accessories.

Featuring the Play Arts Kai variant on Iron Man, the skies above Cambodia seemed like the perfect pairing of the crimson clouds and the stealthier & sleeker Iron Man. Show more

This photgraph was inspired by many of the great Iron Man landing/take off images I have seen on Instagram.
This action figure always delivers whilst editing. Not often does a character suit glowing eyes and a glowing chest with flames appearing from every limb!!!

Thank you Toy photo Awards for this feauture. There are some great photographers out there taking their photographs on all types of devices from mobile phones to expensive cameras (have you seen what an iphone/Andriod app can do these days!!!) all of which inspire me. Show more

"Everyone get down!"

I like to experiment with my photos as much as possible. I've only just begun to learn photoshop/editing elements so I try to do everything practically where it makes sense. Even after I have a better handle on photo editing I still like to think I'll continue to do as much practically as possible. The Tie fighter cockpit here is just the window from an old toy taped to my lens. Show more

The AT-AT's always seems like the quintessential sci-fi behemoth that portended doom. I think that's why the battle between the snow speeders and the AT-AT's embodied the struggle between the good vs evil so well. The landscape was taken at Tahoe, California during a blizzard in 2015. Show more

Thank You Toy Photo Awards.COM for this feature.
I was inspired to take this shot due to all of the great "tin can" photography in recent months.
All effects in this shot are practical and it took 3 attempts on 3 different days!!.
This shot was the most memorable of the 3 due to an audience of around 8 people. Having an audience actually worked out very well because after preparing the shot and setting up the equipment I realised I had left my hacksaw in the car, and I had nothing to cut the bottle with.
Fortunatley someone said "have you taken the shot yet mate? can I have a look?".After I explained I had left my hacksaw in my car and a giggle from the small audience the gentleman said "Don't worry i've got a hacksaw in my van"
After cutting the bottle and not soaking the lens or the small audience in coca cola I could show the shot to the gentleman and the others that had gathered !!!!!! Show more

"Goodbye, Captain"

K2's character really stood out to me the most in Rogue One and I really tried to capture his heroic final stand and personality in one shot.
